November 12, 2022 was a very special day.
I have been studying the ReCode 2.0 protocol by Dr. Dale Bredesen and a team of amazing teachers including Scott Saunders and Heather Sandison, and today, I completed the exams and received my certification.
I must admit, for this soon-to-be 65 year-old, the biology and chemistry portions of this program really had me working, but it was all worth it.
Once my onboarding is completed, I will be a recognized coach for this protocol, and will be able to share the many tools I learned in this course along with those learned in my certification as a brain health professional with Dr. Daniel Amen.
Why have I done all of this work at an age when many people are taking it easy? Because my mom died with the most cruel of diseases - dementia.
Losing her one piece at a time was the most terrible thing I have ever experienced, and I swore that I would do whatever I could to ensure that nobody else ever had to suffer that fate. And that no more daughters would have to lose their mom like my sister, Judy Smith, and I had to lose ours.
Everything I do, I do because of this, and so, I am excited (and more than a bit relieved!) to share this accomplishment, as I continue to coach and encourage others to do whatever it takes to protect your brain.
I beg you - Don't Let the Memories Fade.
If you are serious about improving your memory, dispelling brain fog, being able to learn more and preventing dementia, you are in the right place.
This powerful 8 week program is the EXACT program I used to improve my own health and brain function and eliminate the symptoms of rheumatoid arthritis.
Do you sometimes feel overwhelmed, and that you just can't handle schedules and people?
Do you often forget where you put your keys or why you walked into a room? Are you having trouble learning new things or being in the company of new people?
Many people attribute these events to normal aging, but they are not normal and you should not accept them as part of your life.
These can be warning signs that you could be heading toward a form of cognitive decline that can lead to worse conditions like dementia.
And while common wisdom says that only the elderly suffer from memory problems or cognitive decline, nothing could be further from the truth.
Whether you are 50 or 70, influences like poor diet, lack of exercise, stress and social isolation can cause forgetfulness, difficulty making choices, and even depression-like symptoms.
Fortunately, most of the time, we can correct these issues with simple lifestyle changes.
And that's what Eight Weeks to a Better Brain is all about.
By enrolling in this comprehensive private program, you will be nurtured in all aspects of health as you learn and incorporate the secrets to improving your memory, having more energy and feeling physically stronger and healthier.

You'll get an exercise program to help you become stronger and have more energy, and you'll learn how to nurture neuroplasticity to improve your memory and learning capabilities.
It doesn't matter how old you are, you should assume that you are at risk for dementia.
Why? Because the foods we eat, the air we breathe, the water we drink, even the pots we cook our meals in, can all threaten our health, our brains and our memories.
It's NEVER too early, but it CAN be too late to protect your brain and your future, so the sooner you start, the better.
By the end of this program, you will have implemented the techniques and have the tools to improve your memory and cognition and protect your brain so you can enjoy a healthier, more vibrant future.
